How Infina works

The ways you can work by voice with Infina.

Infina is a voice interface for your Mac. You hold a key, speak, and Infina does the rest — typing your words or running an action. There's no window to open and no app to switch into; it works on top of whatever you're already doing.

There are three ways to work with Infina.

Voice typing

Type with your voice in any text field — email, chat, documents, code. You speak naturally and Infina types out your words, around four times faster than typing. This is the core of Infina and the one feature available on every platform.

Hands-free mode

Don't want to hold a key? On Mac, start your sentence with “type” and your words are typed where your cursor is — say “send” and it submits. Say “Jupiter” for everything else, like opening apps. Infina listens for the trigger words on-device and only starts working when it hears you. It's the same dictation, entirely hands-free.

Voice commands

Give a command and Infina carries it out — open or switch between apps, move between tabs, open a URL, or start a terminal — without leaving the app you're in.
