Using folders to organize your notes

Create, manage, and share folders for better organization

Folders in Infina help you keep meeting notes organized by project, client, or any category you prefer. Simple, flexible, and easy to manage.

1. Creating folders

Click "Create folder", give it a name, and you’re done. The folder appears in your sidebar, ready for you to organize your notes.

2. Adding notes to folders

You can add notes in different ways:

  • Click "Add to folder" from the notes list
  • Drag and drop notes into folders from the sidebar
  • Assign folders while creating or editing a note
  • You can add a note to multiple folders—organize by topic, client, project, or any system that works for you.

    3. Sharing folders with others

Need to share a collection of notes? You can share entire folders with a public link:

  • Click "Share folder" in the folder options
  • Copy the generated link and send it to others
  • Anyone with the link can view the notes inside (no login required)
  • Notes stay private unless you share them. Sharing a folder doesn’t make other folders or notes public.

    3. Managing folders

    Organize your notes:

Group related meetings, projects, or client work into folders to keep things tidy.

    Delete folders when needed:

Deleting a folder won’t delete the notes inside. They’ll still be accessible from your main notes list.

    5. Quick tips

  • Use clear names: Name folders in a way that makes them easy to find.
  • Stay organized: Sort new notes into folders regularly.
  • Multi-tagging: Add a note to multiple folders if it fits more than one category.
  • Folders are a simple but powerful tool to organize and share your meeting notes. Start small, and evolve your folder system as your needs grow.
